The Watson School prepares graduates who are ready to make an impact on a world that is shaped by the forces of new technologies and economic globalization.

Josh Kay, a 22 year-old bioengineering student at BU who plans to attend law school next year, was appointed to the newly formed Young Leaders Congress by former NYS First Lady Silda Spitzer to help deal with the problem of young New Yorkers moving out of state. Kay is a leader of a student think tank known as CIC 20/20 - Catalyst for Intellectual Capital focused on keeping the university's graduates in the Binghamton area by the year 2020 by making the city a premier destination for young adults. A full story ran in The Press & Sun-Bulletin on January 30, 2008.
