Available to All Students
- The
Center for Academic Excellence
offers peer tutoring at no charge in a wide range of subjects.
In addition, the center provides a small reference library and
22 computers linked to the campus network.

The Writing Center
provides tutoring by graduate students in the English Department.
- General
Education Mentoring Program -supports a mentoring program
for undergraduate students which is run under the auspices of
the Faculty Masters in the four residential colleges. This volunteer
program pairs faculty and professional staff mentors with small
groups of first-year students. The mentors assist students in
selecting courses to fulfill their General Education requirements
and in making the transition to college life.

The Career Development Center
offers resources to help students prepare for careers after
Binghamton University. The office offers information on potential
employers, career counseling, resume writing assistance and
other career planning assistance.
- Counseling
Services -The University's Counseling Center provides individual
and group counseling and psychotherapy, and consultation for
students, faculty and staff. The center also trains peer counselors,
who are used in a number of programs.
- Computing
Services and Educational Technology facilities at Binghamton
University exist to support research, teaching, and administration
by the faculty, students, and staff of the University.

- Binghamton
Success Program (BSP) - works with students in Harpur College
or The Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science
who have indicated an interest in studying science, engineering
or mathematics.
- Educational
Opportunity Program (EOP) - - offers special assistance
in the form of counseling, tutoring, developmental course work
and financial aid to financially and educationally disadvantaged
students.
- CSTEP
- Collegiate Science Technology Entry Program -encourages economically
disadvantaged or African American, Latino, Native American,
or Alaskan Native undergraduate or graduate students, who are
New York State residents, to study engineering or other technical
or professional fields.
- ISSS
(International Student and Scholar Services), serves a population
of more than 900 international students from nearly 90 countries
around the world, and approximately 80 visiting international
scholars and faculty. Programs and services are designed to
meet the needs of entering international students, currently
enrolled international students, and international alumni.
- The
McNair
Scholars Program is designed to help undergraduates who
are first generation college students from an economically disadvantaged
background or those that are members of ethnic groups that are
underrepresented in doctoral programs, specifically African-American,
Latino, or Native American, prepare for graduate study.
- Services
for Students with Disabilities - or SSD for short - provides
a wide range of assistance to enrolled students with physical,
learning or other disabilities.
